The Ministry of Information and Civic Education wishes to inform the entire university community that the Quarter-Final fixtures of the Hon. Chericoco Inter-Departmental League 2026 (5th Edition) have been officially released.

The matches will be played at the St. Francis Field as follows:

Wednesday, 17th: Procurement vs Finance FC

Thursday, 18th: COMSSU vs PAM

Friday, 19th: Law vs Public Health

Saturday, 20th: Post Graduate vs SJOG Nursing

We encourage all students, staff, and football enthusiasts to come out in large numbers to support their respective departments and enjoy the spirit of sportsmanship.

BAF/ACF emerged victorious with a hard-fought 1–0 win over the Political Science Department in an exciting encounter. The lone goal of the match proved decisive, securing all three points for BAF/ACF after a disciplined and determined performance.

Congratulations to BAF/ACF on their victory

Public Health delivered a dominant performance, defeating Business Administration 4–0 in an exciting inter-departmental encounter.

The Public Health side showcased excellent teamwork and attacking football, securing a convincing four-goal victory while keeping a clean sheet.

For his outstanding display and remarkable contribution throughout the match, Osman D. Conteh of Public Health was deservedly named Man of the Match.

I want to name this match the "Fatima Campus El Clásico," as both teams battle for dominance and supremacy.

From my three years of experience here, I have noticed that the POSIR Science and BAF/ACF teams most of the times make it to the semifinals and finals.

The Nursing Department secured a hard-fought victory over the Human Resource Management Department in today's inter-departmental football encounter.

The match ended with Nursing Department leading by 2 goals to 1, showcasing determination, teamwork, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the game.
