Central University came alive with color, style, and excitement as students celebrated Day 4 of Students’ Week with the much-anticipated Oldies D’ Goodies event. The campus atmosphere was filled with energy as students proudly showcased fashion trends from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

From vintage outfits to retro hairstyles and classic accessories, students embraced the spirit of past generations with creativity and confidence. The event created a lively and entertaining environment, allowing students to relive iconic fashion moments while adding their own modern touch.

Oldies D’ Goodies remains one of the most anticipated highlights of Students’ Week, as many students eagerly look forward to expressing themselves through timeless styles and memorable looks. The celebration brought smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of unity across campus.

Students also enjoyed taking freestyle photos in their rock-inspired dresses and vintage outfits, capturing unforgettable memories of the day. The colorful showcase once again proved that Central University Students’ Week continues to promote fun, creativity, and student engagement.

Yellow House Emerges Winner at Ihsan Academy Inter-House Sports Event

Ihsan Academy Junior and Senior Secondary School in Mange Bureh has successfully concluded its annual inter-house athletics sports event, with Yellow House emerging as the overall winner.

The highly anticipated event, which brought together students, staff, and community members, showcased a variety of track and field activities aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among pupils.

At the end of the competition, Yellow House secured the first position with a total of 718 points. Green House followed closely in second place with 708 points, demonstrating strong competition throughout the event. Blue House finished in third place, while Red House placed fourth.

The successful hosting of the event further highlights Ihsan Academy’s commitment to nurturing both the academic and physical development of its students.

The Ihsan Academy Junior and Senior Secondary School in Mange Bureh recently hosted a vibrant and highly competitive sports meet, bringing together students, staff, and members of the community in a celebration of talent, unity, and sportsmanship.

The event was officially organized by the Staff and supervised by the Bureh United Sports Council (BUSCIL), under the auspices of the Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood (SLMB).

The sports meet featured a variety of athletic activities, including track and field events, and other recreational competitions designed to engage both junior and senior students. Participants demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, discipline, and teamwork throughout the event, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education.

The ceremony will bring together graduating students, lecturers, university administrators, and invited guests to celebrate academic achievement and success.
