...and there we are again!!! God is good!

Today, we proudly brought Literacy Week 2026 to a memorable close with our Grand Literacy Parade and Storytelling Festival under the theme "We Are the Story."

What an incredible journey it has been!

This morning, our students took literacy beyond the classroom walls and into the heart of Providenciales. With vibrant banners, creative placards, enthusiastic chants, and powerful messages promoting the importance of reading and learning, we proudly marched from our school grounds to the roundabout and back, reminding our community that literacy is still the way to go!

Along the route, our students demonstrated confidence, creativity, and school pride while showcasing the knowledge and skills they have developed through reading, writing, speaking, and storytelling.

The celebration continued with our Storytelling Festival, where we were honored to welcome representatives from United Way, along with our supportive parents and guardians. The audience was captivated as the winners of our Poetry and Storytelling Competitions shared their outstanding pieces, highlighting the remarkable talent, imagination, and literary excellence that exists within our school community.

As we closed this special week, every student received a token celebrating their participation and love for literacy, a reminder that every reader, writer, thinker, and storyteller has a unique voice and an important story to tell.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our teachers, parents, guardians, community partners, United Way, the police department, and all who contributed to the success of Literacy Week. Your support helped create meaningful experiences that inspired our students to read more, dream bigger, and believe in the power of their voices.

Most importantly, we commend our students. Who embraced every activity, accepted every challenge, and showed us that literacy is more than reading words on a page, it is the key that unlocks opportunity, understanding, creativity, and lifelong success.

As Literacy Week comes to an end, our literacy journey continues because literacy is not just something we celebrate for one week, it is something we live every day.

Day 4
Vocabulous Expeditious!

Today our school came alive with words as students proudly wore their vocabulary words for Literacy Week! From resilient and courageous to creative and determined, each student brought a powerful word to life in a unique and exciting way. The designs were creative, and lots of enthusiasm. Students not only wore their words but also learned their meanings and shared them with others. It was wonderful to see confidence, imagination, and learning. Every costume reminded us of the power of words and how they help us express ourselves. We are incredibly proud of the effort and creativity shown by all our students. Keep shining, Provo Christian School -today, words truly came alive!

Literacy Week – Day 3
Theme: Voices Unleashed.

Day 3 of Literacy Week got off to an inspiring start as students from every grade level stepped forward to compete for the title of Story/Poetry Champion. Excitement filled the air as some students boldly shared original stories, while others recited poems that showcased their creativity, imagination, and expressive voices.By the end of the day, many stories were told and countless poems were performed. Although only the top entries earned first, second, and third place, every participant demonstrated courage, talent, and growth.What truly stood out was the bravery of our students—each one choosing to rise to the challenge, set aside their fears, and let their voices be heard. For this reason, every student is a winner. Their confidence, creativity, and willingness to share made Day 3 a powerful celebration of expression.
