. connect kids with nature
. create learning gardens for biodiversity, knowledge and fun! Mr Dan is an Eco-Warrior. He now is a lvl3 Forest School Teacher.

He was a landscape architect before learning Permaculture and switching to education. His mission is to connect people - especially kids to Nature, sowing seeds of compassion, understanding and knowledge to grow future practical Earth stewards. Design is still a passion of his, yet now limited to food forests and learning gardens!

A lovely morning celebrating with students and families at La Petite École.

At the Grow corner, children followed their curiosity through nature, some searching for spiders, discovering flowers, drawing beetles, and enjoying a little taste of the Grow Kitchen style. Simple activities, real discoveries.

Congratulations to all the students as they take their next step into elementary school. Thank you to La Petite École for welcoming Grow Learning Gardens to be part of this special day.

Children don't need much—just a little space, a little freedom, and a chance to explore. 🌿

29 June - 3 July : Woodworking

This week, children will explore the art of woodworking through hands-on experiences with real tools and natural materials. They will learn how to use tools safely, develop patience and concentration, and transform pieces of wood into their own creations. Along the way, children strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and confidence while experiencing the satisfaction of making something with their own hands.

Nature programs involve building resilience, and that includes dealing with the weather.

Yes, it's raining, yes, raining hard, yet we're still on with the family day today!

This is one of those days where the brave show up!

Every programme offers something different, but they all share the same belief:
Children grow best when they have the freedom to explore, play, create, and connect with the natural world.

"What's that sound?"
At Forest School Club today, our little explorers froze mid-step today — something was buzzing beneath their feet. Turns out, a cicada survivor had emerged from underground, singing with its wings for the very first time. The kids didn't just learn about cicadas today. They heard one live its story. This is why we learn outside. 🌱
