Have you ever handed over the iPad just to get a peaceful mealtime or to coax a few more bites into your little one? 📱

We’ve all been there... Screens work in a pinch, but using them to get your child to eat more or healthier actually doesn’t help in the long run. 🥗

Their mindful eating habits need to start with being aware of what they are eating and what is actually going into their body. 🧠

So how do we do this? 🤔

We aren’t nutrition experts, which is why we’re bringing in two specialists this month to help us navigate these exact mealtime hurdles. 🤩

Have you ever used sweet treats to get through a meltdown? Or promised dessert just to get a few bites of dinner into your little one? 🤔

We’ve all been there. It’s the classic mealtime bribe, and in the short term, it works. 🤩

But using food as a reward or a negotiation tool can accidentally change how children view their internal hunger cues and emotional comfort. 😮‍💨

We aren’t nutrition experts, which is why we are bringing in two incredible specialists this month to help us navigate the tricky psychology of family eating patterns. 🍱

Did you know that what we eat directly affects our emotions? 🥦

We talk a lot about processing big feelings, setting boundaries, and co-regulation. But there is a massive piece of the emotional puzzle that happens right at the kitchen table. 🧩

The food our kids eat directly shapes how their brains grow, behave, focus, and manage their moods. 🧠

But we aren’t nutrition experts, and that’s exactly why we are bringing in two incredible specialists this month to break down the science and take the stress out of mealtimes. 🍲

What if the pressure you’re putting on mealtimes is making things harder? 🤔

If you’ve ever sat across from your child willing them to eat their vegetables, offered dessert as a reward, or ended a meal feeling defeated, Keren Granit’s session is going to shift something for you. 🥕

Keren is a Registered Dietitian specializing in family nutrition and women’s health, and her work centers on a deceptively simple but genuinely powerful idea: healthy eating habits are built through trust, not pressure. 🤩

She works with parents to make nutrition practical and achievable in everyday life, not as an ideal you’re constantly falling short of, but as something that actually fits your family. 🏡

In this session, Keren will introduce parents to the evidence-based Division of Responsibility method, developed by feeding expert Ellyn Satter. 📖

It’s a framework that clearly defines what parents are responsible for at mealtimes and what belongs to the child. 👧

When that boundary is respected, something remarkable happens: the power struggles ease, the anxiety drops, and kids start developing a healthier relationship with food on their own terms. 😊

If mealtimes in your home feel stressful, chaotic, or like a negotiation you always lose, this session will give you a new way to see it, and a clearer, calmer path forward. 😃

📕 Every attendee will receive Keren’s free guide, The Mealtime Cheat Sheet: Raising Confident Eaters (Ages 3-11).

What your child eats is shaping how they think, feel, and behave. 🍱

We often talk about behavior, focus, and emotional regulation as if they’re separate from what our kids eat. 🤔

But Amanda Doty, Educator, Wellness Coach, and Founder of The Wellness Compass, has spent over a decade working with children and families at exactly this intersection, and the connection is impossible to ignore. 🤩

In this session, Amanda will help parents understand how food directly fuels (or disrupts) a child’s brain development, ability to focus, emotional regulation, and learning. 🧠

But here’s the part we love: her approach is not about perfection, restriction, or overhauling everything in your kitchen. ❌

It’s about practical, realistic shifts that actually fit into real family life. 🏠

Her session is built around three clear pillars:
✨ Brain Fuel
✨ Patterns Over Perfection
✨ Environment Matters.

That last one might surprise you because it’s not just about the food itself, but about the routines, the language we use around eating, and the atmosphere we create at home. 🏡

All of it shapes how our children relate to food for life. 🤯

There’s also a chance to do a hands-on “Sugar Detective” activity together, helping you spot hidden sugars in everyday foods and understand how they affect your child’s energy, mood, and ability to focus. 🔬

📕 Every attendee will go home with Amanda’s free guide, Patterns Over Perfection: 3 Simple Nutrition Shifts That Support Kids’ Brain Health, Behavior & Learning.

Why are we unknowingly shifting the entire burden of consent to our girls? 🤔

The way our sons learn to view women’s autonomy, space, and equality is shaped silently by the everyday structure of our homes and communities. 👀

When we think about teaching boys about boundaries, we often focus purely on the word “No.” ❌

But consent and boundaries aren’t just taught in what we say but also in how we behave at home. 🏠

When household tasks and emotional labor default entirely to mothers, sons are statistically more likely to grow up viewing female autonomy and time as “service-based” rather than sovereign (EIGE, 2021). 🧹

This routine imbalance makes it much easier for them to overlook a woman’s personal boundaries later in life. 😮‍💨

Psychological data shows that when young boys are intentionally encouraged to view girls as equal peers with their own complete autonomy rather than “people to protect” they develop significantly higher levels of empathy and show a much deeper, natural respect for peer-to-peer boundaries (Harvard GSE, 2018). 🤩

💬 How do you practice teaching boundary awareness or equal respect in your daily home routines? Let’s swap ideas below. 👇
