The Mango House Preparatory School

Show and Tell is a preschool activity that gives children the opportunity to share something meaningful with their classmates while building confidence, communication, and listening skills. It encourages our little ones to express their thoughts, expand their vocabulary and develop important social skills as they learn to speak in front of a group and listen respectfully to others.

This week, following our Father's Day celebrations, our preschoolers were tasked with bringing an object that represented something they did with their fathers and father fugures on Father's Day. From special outings to favourite activities shared together, each item told a unique story. The children shared their experiences, strengthening their speaking skills while celebrating the special bonds they share with their dads. We loved hearing their stories.

Happy Father's Day to all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers and father figures in our Primary School family.

Our children lovingly created special keepsakes to celebrate the amazing men who inspire, support, protect and encourage them every day.

They certainly don't look like this anymore. A little throwback to 2019 of some of our students. Today, they are in Standard 5 and getting ready to graduate. It's been a privilege to watch them grow, learn and blossom over the years. We couldn't be prouder of how far they've come.

Happy Birthday to our very own Aunty Judy. Today we celebrate a wonderful person whose kindness, love and dedication touch so many lives each day. May your birthday be filled with happiness and all the blessings you deserve.

Learning through play is always exciting in our PreK-1 class. Our little ones engaged in a fun number recognition activity using clothespins to correctly match numbers.

Clothespins are an excellent teaching manipulative because they are simple and help strengthen the small muscles in children's fingers and hands. As children pinch and place each clothespin, they develop fine motor skills that are essential for future tasks such as writing, drawing, cutting and buttoning clothing.

At the same time, this interactive activity reinforces number recognition, helping children build confidence in identifying and matching numbers.
