DON’T FEEL SHY TO START A CONVERSATION

I remember that before I developed the habit of reading books, I was a very quiet person. I did not like talking much, and I preferred spending most of my time alone. More often than not, I enjoyed staying indoors rather than going out and interacting with people.

After entering the world of books, I have learned many valuable lessons. Earlier this year, I bought a book called *The Let Them Theory* for 60,000 Tanzanian shillings. For someone without a job, spending that amount of money on a book can be challenging. However, I have chosen to prioritize knowledge and learning over money. I believe money is important, but knowledge is even more valuable at every stage of life.

One of the most powerful lessons I learned from that book was the importance of communication. I discovered the value of starting conversations, even with people I have never met before. As a result, I have found myself in a new world that I truly enjoy. Opportunities are everywhere, but the truth is that opportunities come through people. People are opportunities. Almost everything you want to achieve can be connected to someone who has the knowledge, experience, or resources you need. But how will you know what people can offer if you never talk to them?

Speak up. Start conversations without fear or embarrassment. Conversations create opportunities. Remaining silent is not a way of increasing your value; instead, it often limits your access to opportunities, ideas, and knowledge.

A small reminder: visit new places, meet new people, and start conversations with those you do not know. This is not about seeking attention or trying to impress others. It is one of the most effective ways to discover opportunities and build meaningful connections.

Talk. Connect. Learn. Grow.

IT IS OKAY NOT TO BE UNDERSTOOD (LET TIME SPEAK FOR ITSELF)

In life, I have continued to learn many lessons, especially when facing challenges. I have always chosen to view challenges as opportunities to grow, learn, and gain valuable experience on this journey called life.

One thing I have learned is that there are times when no matter how clearly you communicate your message, people may still fail to understand it when you want them to. Sometimes, despite your best efforts to explain yourself, understanding does not come easily. In such moments, you may even begin to question yourself and criticize your own personality, believing that perhaps your message has no value at all.

Today, I want to tell you something important: there are many stories of people, especially in Africa, whose messages were only understood after they had passed away. It was only then that people began to say, “Oh, so this is what they meant!” or “Wasn’t this issue mentioned before?” or “Didn’t someone speak about this long ago?” What was once ignored suddenly became clear.

Therefore, learn to trust the timing of life. If you believe your message is right, focus on doing your part by sharing it faithfully. Whether people understand it today or not should not become your burden. Let time speak. Let history speak. Let the future reveal the meaning of what you have said.

Do not force people to understand you. Do not force it at all. Be authentic. Speak authentically. Live authentically. Then allow time to testify to the truth you once spoke.

Believe, in due time.
