When it comes to awareness around your triggers, I believe there are 4 stages. 1️⃣ No awareness of your patterns or reactions. 2️⃣ Realising your patterns and reactions and the impact they have had. 3️⃣Starting to become aware of them sooner after they happen. 4️⃣ Becoming more aware of them in the moment and being able to respond rather than react. This isn’t only about becoming more aware though. You also get to regulate your nervous system, expand your window of tolerance, and re-parent your inner child, because these are all factors that will influence your degree of activation and your ability to be with it. #healingjourney #innerchildwork #nervoussystemregulation #selfawareness #innerwork
