If you are pregnant you’ve likely already heard the term Midwife or Doula as nowadays it is a common word used during pregnancy. A midwife is a trained health professional who helps healthy women during labor, delivery, and after the birth of their babies. Midwives may deliver babies at birthing centers or at home, but most can also deliver babies at a hospital. A doula is a support person hired to provide physical, emotional and information support before, during and after birth.
