Not all feedback deserves your attention. Not all criticism deserves your energy. And yet most of us treat every negative opinion like it needs to be processed, defended against, or taken to heart.

There is a simple rule that changes everything about how you filter what lands and what gets left at the door. If you would not take advice from that person, you do not need to take their criticism either.

This conversation on One Great Question is about learning to protect your confidence without becoming closed off to the feedback that actually matters.

Who in your life are you currently giving way too much airtime to, and what would change if you simply stopped?

Callie had a plan for her life. And then one decision to adopt four siblings at once turned everything she thought she knew about herself and what she was capable of completely upside down.

This is not a tidy story with a neat ending. It is a raw and honest account of what it looks and feels like when you say yes to something that demands everything from you and somehow find out that you had more to give than you ever imagined.

This conversation on One Great Question will make you think differently about sacrifice, love, and what it really means to build a life around something bigger than yourself.

When did you last say yes to something that genuinely scared you, and what did it end up teaching you about who you are?

06/09/2026

What is the fear you have been protecting yourself from examining that might completely lose its power if you just named it?

Most of us have someone in our lives who asks the questions we are not ready for. Not to be difficult. Because they can see something we are too close to notice ourselves.

Bill the father in law had one question he came back to again and again. What is the worst thing that could happen? Simple, borderline irritating, and somehow impossible to dismiss. Because when you actually sit with it honestly, it exposes exactly where the fear lives and whether it is even real.

This conversation on One Great Question is about what happens when you stop dodging the uncomfortable question and finally think it through out loud.

If the work you do today no longer needed a human to do it, what would you want your days to actually be about?

Most of us have quietly wondered whether our role could eventually be done by a AI. And for a long time the honest answer was probably not. That answer is getting harder to hold onto.

This is not a doom and gloom conversation. It is a genuinely curious one about what happens to work, to identity, and to purpose if the jobs landscape shifts more dramatically than any of us are prepared for. Universal income, skilled job replacement, the future of meaning. All of it is on the table.

This conversation on One Great Question does not pretend to have the answers but it asks the questions worth sitting with.

Who in your life asks you the kinds of questions that actually make you stop and think differently about yourself?

Most of the big turning points in people's lives do not come from a plan or a strategy. They come from someone who cared enough to ask the one question you were not ready to hear. And then everything shifted.

That is exactly what happened here. A friend asked a simple but daring question and the answer that came back changed the trajectory of everything that followed.

This conversation on One Great Question is a reminder that the right question at the right moment is one of the most powerful forces in a human life.

AI is not coming. It is already here, already inside the businesses, the decisions, and the industries you are part of. And the people who are thriving are not the ones who have it all figured out. They are just the ones who decided to engage with it instead of wait it out.

This is not a conversation about hype or fear. It is a conversation about what it actually looks like to have a thoughtful, eyes open relationship with something that is reshaping everything around you whether you opted in or not.

Because staying on the sideline is also a choice. And it has consequences.

What has been your biggest reason for not going deeper with AI, and is that reason still valid?

Jason went through addiction, legal battles and the kind of chaos that most people would spend a lifetime trying to hide. He decided to do the opposite. He made it the foundation of everything he now stands for.

Not because vulnerability is trendy. Because he realised that the mess he had lived through was exactly what gave him the credibility and the compassion to help other people find their way out of theirs.

This conversation on One Great Question is about what it actually takes to stop running from your story and start letting it work for you.

What part of your own journey have you been keeping quiet that might be exactly what someone else needs to hear?

Most parents ask the same questions every day. How was school? What did you eat? Did you do your homework? And most kids give the same answers. Fine. Nothing. Yes. And the real stuff stays unspoken.

This conversation introduces four questions that create the kind of space where kids actually open up. Not because you forced it but because the question itself signals that you are genuinely curious about their inner world and not just their schedule.

It is a small shift in how you show up that can change the depth of everything you build with them over time.

When last did your child tell you something that genuinely surprised you about how they see the world?

05/19/2026

There are people the world looks at and says that is it. That is what winning looks like. And some of those exact people will tell you quietly that if they could do it again they would do it completely differently.

Not because they failed. Because they succeeded at something that turned out not to be the thing that actually mattered to them.

This conversation on One Great Question sits with that uncomfortable truth and asks what it really means to build a life you are proud of from the inside rather than one that just looks good from the outside.

If you got everything you are currently working toward, how confident are you that it would actually feel the way you are imagining it will?

The best businesses are rarely born from a flash of inspiration. They usually start with someone getting genuinely frustrated by a gap that everyone else seems to be ignoring and deciding to do something about it.

Charles saw that gap between strategy and ex*****on in the early stages of business development. Where good ideas go to die because nobody knows how to move them forward. So he built something to fix it. And major brands started showing up at his door.

This conversation on One Great Question is about what it actually takes to go from spotting a problem to building something real around it.

What frustration in your industry have you been living with so long that you stopped noticing it might be the very thing you are supposed to solve?
