Sunshine Seniors

Sunshine Seniors are very appreciative of all the Volunteers who come and lend a Helping Hand every Tuesday. Today some youth from Gainesville First United Methodist Church came to assist. We also had Hazel who helped Ariel Collins and Iris Butts with registration. Of course 10 friends from Unity Project and our Faithful Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Elders and Sisters come every week. We are Grateful to all 50 volunteers who showed up today Standing on God's Business

Yesterday it Rained BUT we didn't get rained out. The assignment goes on. We recieved showers of Blessing in spite of the rain. A gentleman stopped by to tell us he sees us and appreciate us feeding families. He gifted us money to buy lunch for our Volunteers. Then Georgia State Representative Matt Dubnik dropped by to see our pantry operation. We recieved another Blessing of 27 pallets of food. Another Community Partner passed out information on rental and homebuying. We are truly grateful for everything that we are Blessed with. Thank You Jesus for being a Waymaker, Miracle worker,Promise Keeper and Light in darkness!

SUNSHINE SENIORS HAS A RICH HISTORY FOR 30+ YEAR IN THE GAINESVILLE COMMUNITY! YESTERDAY WE CELEBRATED OUR FAITHFUL AND DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS FOR 13 YEARS OF FOOD DISTRIBUTION. THANKS TO DR. David Westfall , Anderson Flynn and Kay Howard Blackstock for believing encouraging us to have a food pantry. We are Grateful for Pastor Stephen Samuel and St John Baptist Church for providing us a place to distribute food every Tuesday. Our Sponsors this year Cargill and Coca-Cola. ThE Food, Fellowship was GREAT. Sorry I missed some of the ones who came.

Grateful for the Partnership with RefrigiWear. Today Sha delivered 4 insulated blankets to keep our food safe from the heat. During COVID-19 they came to our rescue when we started distributing food outside. They also have come and Volunteered. Thanks again everyone at RefrgiWear

Yesterday was a Great Day to Serve Our Community 580 +families. The weather turned out perfect. And to top it off Ariel Collins owner of A 1 Scoops LLC served our 45 Volunteers her tasty water ice treats.
