While most of the studio performed at our American Celebration recital, several others participated in Sandhills Community College’s Piano Day. This was a day of masterclasses and performance. Here’s The Great Smokey Mountains by David Carr Glover in one of the lessons.

Another crowd favorite was Chrissy Ricker’s arrangement of Great Balls of Fire.

Over the next few days I’ll share some of our spring recital performances. We celebrated American music, including patriotic, folk, spiritual, blues, and film genres. Here is Jennifer Eklund’s arrangement of Yankee Doodle for six hands.
