As an international school 🌎, summer is always a busy time for our Admissions Team as they guide families through our dedicated rolling admissions process.
We understand that work and relocation schedules do not always align with a traditional admissions cycle, and that some families are still searching for the right fit for fall.
So whether you are relocating, looking for a stronger academic challenge, seeking a fresh start, or hoping to find a truly international community where your child will thrive, AIS is here to help.
Whatever brings your family to AIS, you will benefit from four decades of experience welcoming students into our unique learning community. 💙

It’s official! 🎶 AIS is proud to announce a new partnership with
Through AISx, our flexible schedule program, AIS will serve as an official education partner for CMC Atlanta students—helping young musicians pursue high-level musical training while continuing a world-class IB education, with schedules specially designed around their passions and performance commitments.
CMC Atlanta supports students across Atlanta, including through its Atlanta Music High School program for students in Grades 6–12. Now, with a new CMC location open at the AIS Sandy Springs Campus and daily shuttles connecting Sandy Springs and Buckhead, students can move seamlessly between music and academics.
We are so excited to partner with CMC Atlanta and welcome new AISx students this summer! 🎓🎵✨

Come one, come all! Last night it was time for our annual Eagle cardboard Arcade 🎟️ 🌟
Guests played games designed and built by our students using cardboard and recycled materials that bring science concepts to life through play. From gravity and force of motion, levers, and energy, each game challenged visitors to think, experiment, all while earning tickets and winning prizes.
A special demonstration from our world-qualifying iHOT Robotics team made the event unforgettable.
The arcade showcased again just how creative and curious our students are!

How did he do that?! 🔬✨
Our Grade 1 students were visited by Michael Green, also known as The Science Machine, for an exciting live science show full of experiments, “magic tricks,” and intriguing demonstrations. With student volunteers helping bring each experiment to life, students watched as concepts unfolded right in front of them — followed by an explanation of the science behind them.
By the end of the assembly, students were already saying they wanted to do science “all the time!” 💚
Thank you to The Science Machine for inspiring curiosity and a love of discovery in our young learners.

Last week, our Middle School students brought energy and spirit to House Field Day—where every point counted toward the final House Cup of the school year. As part of the ongoing house competition, students went head-to-head in challenges like tug of war, the water bucket relay, and the hula hoop challenge.
It was close, competitive, and loud (in the best possible way). Congratulations to team Everest 🐆 who came out on top (against competing houses Pacific 🦈, Amazon 🐍, and Sahara 🦂), earning field day bragging rights and the House Cup! 🏆

🌎💚 For Earth Day, our Grade 6 students took part in a hands-on project that connected caring for the planet with caring for our community. After planting impatiens, decorating terracotta pots, and writing Earth Day-inspired messages, a small group delivered their creations to residents at Campbell-Stone Residential Home—bringing smiles, joy, and meaningful connection along the way. 🌱🌼
