UPDATE:
Praise God! We pray joyful thanksgiving for today’s blessings.
Jennifer’s surgery was to remove one of three tumors. It went as well as we could have hoped. The surgeon said the tumor tissue and brain tissue were clearly differentiated so it’s unlikely they removed any brain tissue. Also, the surgeon said 99% of that tumor is out—they won’t ever say 100%—which is great. She’s recovering in ICU for a few days and then goes home.
Many thanks for your prayers.
We have a running joke in my family that I have "Nuns On Call". I figure, what good is it to have that if I don't occasionally use it. So, here it goes. One of my wife's best friends found out this week that she has a number of brain tumors. She is in surgery today to try and remove them. All prayers that you can send up would be appreciated. Non-nuns are appreciated also.
