Today, two organizations. One message. One mission. And 80 years of proof that school meals change lives.

For 80 years, school nutrition professionals have shown up before the school doors opened.

They fed children through recessions. Through a pandemic. Through budget cuts and policy discussions and moments when no one was watching.

SNA and are taking that message to Congress.

Side by side with people who believe that a hungry child cannot learn. On the 80th anniversary of the National School Lunch Act. Not to ask for attention. To make sure the people writing the laws understand what is actually at stake in every school cafeteria in this country.

πŸ’¬ If you could say one thing to Congress about school meals today, what would it be? Drop it in the comments. Or simply drop β€œFund School Meals!” if you stand with school meals!

Let’s share what 80 years of showing up looks like!
