While as a campus, we are remembering the First World War this semester with courses, lectures, films, a music recital and more, it's worth remembering events 50 years ago today: the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. One of the more gripping books we teach in COR 302 is Heda Kovaly's memoir, Under a Cruel Star - she ends with a description of those events.
