We do that online with our educational programs and at our weekend events.
We help Lady Jeepers (women who own Jeeps) to safely enjoy their Jeeps on the trail and customize their Jeeps so that they confidently create a life of adventure without fear.
Have you ever wondered why some Jeeps seem to glide over obstacles while others scrape, drag, or get hung up on the trail?
The answer often isn't your tires.
It's your ground clearance.
In this episode of the Ladies Confident Trail Show, we're breaking down one of the most misunderstood off-road concepts for newer Jeep owners: understanding ground clearance.
You'll learn:
✅ What ground clearance actually means
✅ What parts underneath your Jeep are most likely to make contact
✅ Why tires aren't usually what gets you stuck
✅ How to choose better lines on the trail
✅ How awareness helps prevent unnecessary damage
✅ How confident drivers assess obstacles before they move
Whether you're driving a stock Jeep or a modified build, understanding ground clearance can help you make better decisions, reduce trail anxiety, and build confidence behind the wheel.
At LadyJeepers, we believe confidence doesn't come from having the biggest build.
Confidence comes from understanding your Jeep, having a plan, and learning the skills that allow you to adventure safely and confidently.
Because your Jeep journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

Understanding Ground Clearance
One of the biggest misconceptions I see is thinking that if your tires clear an obstacle, you’re good to go.
But here’s the thing…
It’s usually not your tires that get stuck.
When I talk about ground clearance, I’m talking about the distance between the ground and the lowest point underneath your Jeep.
And honestly, this is one of those skills that can save you a lot of unnecessary scraping, dragging, and stress on the trail.
Because the trail doesn’t just care about where your tires go…
It cares about everything underneath your Jeep too.
Things like:
✔ Transfer Case Skid Plate
✔ Crossmembers
✔ Fuel Tank Skid
✔ Control Arm Mounts
✔ Differentials
So the next time you’re approaching an obstacle, instead of only asking:
“Can my tires get over that?”
Try asking:
👉 What happens after my front tires clear it?
👉 What’s happening underneath my Jeep?
👉 What happens when my rear tires get there?
That simple shift in thinking can completely change how you approach obstacles.
The most confident drivers I know aren’t necessarily the ones with the biggest tires or the most modifications.
They’re the ones who understand what their Jeep is doing underneath them.
Because confidence doesn’t come from guessing.
Confidence comes from understanding.

Mall Crawler vs. Off-Road Jeep...
Few topics create more debate in the Jeep community than this one.
Some Jeep owners believe a Wrangler was built to be used off-road. Others believe it's their Jeep and they can enjoy it however they want.
So where did this debate begin?
In this episode of The Confident Trail Show, we're diving into the history of the Jeep Wrangler, exploring where the "mall crawler" label came from, why off-road enthusiasts feel so strongly about it, and why the other side makes valid points too.
Most importantly, we're discussing the bigger lesson behind the debate:
👉 Is there really a right or wrong way to own a Jeep?
Whether your Jeep is completely stock, heavily modified, driven daily, parked at shows, or tackling trails every weekend, this conversation is about understanding both sides and rediscovering what Jeep ownership should really be about.
In This Episode:
✔ The origins of the Jeep Wrangler and its military roots
✔ Where the "mall crawler" term came from
✔ Why off-road enthusiasts feel strongly about Jeep capability
✔ Why customized street Jeeps make sense too
✔ The impact of judgment within the Jeep community
✔ What women often experience when entering the Jeep world
✔ The real purpose behind Jeep ownership
✔ Why your Jeep journey doesn't have to look like theirs
