Hello everybody,

This has been a very busy Tuesday, got up this morning. Looking forward to the test that I mentioned yesterday. I had a right heart Cath along with a biopsy of the new heart. To repeat, a Cath is a test that they go in through an order in your neck and check all the pressures being produced by your heart in your lungs along with different movement of fluids and volumes of fluids. I’m sure there’s more detail to it, but that’s the basics. The wonderful part is all my numbers were exactly where they wanted them so I passed that part of the test. The second part of the test was the heart biopsy, the quick look says they didn’t see any rejection but official numbers will come from the lab in about 12 to 24 hours. We will wait for those results to come soon.

I still have one more procedure to remove the defibrillator that I’ve had for a few years. It’s already shut off and disconnected. They just have to have it removed.

I had three visitors today, my mom, my sister, and my cousin Lori. They brought lunch for me and we really enjoyed some time together. I was only interrupted with about 10 different professionals while they we’re here, lol.

The rest of my day has just been working on recuperating from the procedures, having my dinner, and I did get in one walk today for half a mile. Overall, I feel very good. Assuming everything will go as planned. There is a good potential for going home this Thursday or Friday. I am extremely excited to be home and with my family.

6 be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Sharpeners Jam hotel reminder!

Our hotel room block expires May 24th, and with World Cup travel affecting the Atlanta area this summer, nearby hotel rooms may begin filling faster than normal.

We still have about 15 in-person seats remaining for Sharpeners Jam 2026.

If you’re planning to come, now is a good time to reserve your room and register.

Sharpeners Jam is not a giant trade show. It’s working sharpeners helping sharpeners in a small-room environment where questions, ideas, troubleshooting, and fellowship happen all weekend long.

It sounds like Jason Sturm from the EdgePro may be getting his heart transplant in the morning. Please be in prayer for this great man. My mentor when it comes to clipper blades and our dear friend.
