Tutoring with Audrey

𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆! 𝟱 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!

Who wants to try this one?

This is a free response question from a practice SAT, and it is tough. I explained it in class today, but I checked back in with one of my students who really wanted to understand it — and even though he’s already scoring in the 750+ range, he said he still needed more examples.

So I made a slideshow that builds up to everything students need to know for this one problem… and it ended up being 15 slides long. I'm going to explain it in a video for him and other students in the class.

Sometimes the College Board explanations just don’t cut it.

Carina Jiminez took my ACT Intensive class first and then continued with private tutoring to see another 4-point increase!

Jasper started prep early with a group class, and he ended up as a National Merit Finalist!

He shared, “The tutoring experience was awesome and helped me build confidence in preparation for the SAT. Access to the review materials and Audrey’s responsiveness made a huge impact.”

After taking the test for the first time, Jasper kept studying and increased his score by 140 points!

Jasper will be attending Georgia Tech to study Aerospace Engineering, and I am so proud of his hard work. I’m excited to see him take on such an incredible next step.

Hillary earned an outstanding 34 composite ACT score!

She worked with Derren 1:1, completing our recommended ten 2-hour sessions.

Hillary shared that Derren was awesome, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the process.

Hillary will be attending the University of Florida, where she plans to study Finance and Marketing.

Tessa increased her ACT score by 7 points after taking several of our classes and tutoring 1:1 with us.

She kept working hard, and she kept seeing improvement. Tessa shared that our program helped her raise her scores significantly.

Tessa was accepted into every school she applied to, and she chose UGA!

She was so much fun to work with, and I am so glad she met her goals.

Isabella came to our Summer ACT Intensive last year and shared, “I went into my first ACT with confidence thanks to Audrey, Nicole, and Derren!! I scored a 26 and met my goal!! I also earned some merit scholarship money for my test scores.”

That is exactly why I love summer prep: students can focus, build confidence, and knock out a big goal before the school year gets busy.

Isabella will be attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Camila improved by 230 points overall after group and private tutoring, and she shared that she received scholarships from the University of Tennessee!

She said we were “super sweet,” and we say the same about her! I am so proud of how hard she worked and how much she practiced.

Regan already had a great score when she came to us, so we worked together for six 2-hour sessions to really hone in on the areas where she could grow the most.

She increased her ACT score by 5 POINTS overall, and we were thrilled!

Regan is the kind of student who reminds you why you love teaching. I genuinely looked forward to seeing her and enjoyed every session. I also got to work with her brother a few years ago, and he was awesome, too. I’m lucky to work with such amazing families.

Regan will be attending Berry College, where she will be playing soccer.

Henry amassed more than $450,000 in merit scholarship offers!

He did a combination of group classes and private tutoring with to prepare for the SAT, and he gave her the ultimate compliment: “Derren is the GOAT.” 🐐

Henry will be attending Clemson University’s Business School.
