It is with heavy hearts, we ask our MIT Alumni family to come together in love, prayer, and support for Chaze’ Johnson (Class of 2022) and Patrice Metts (Class of 2022) as they mourn the heartbreaking passing of precious 1-year-old Tru Davi-la'el Owens.

Please join us for a Candlelight Vigil on Friday, April 10th at 7:30 PM at Gresham Pavilion, 3113 Gresham Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30316 as we honor Tru’s beautiful life and surround the family with love.

Viewing, Service & Repast will be held on Saturday, April 11th beginning at 1:00 PM at Speaks Funeral Home & Crematory, 5755 Old National Hwy, College Park, GA

And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
The scripture says that as Peter began to sink, He said, Lord, save me. And Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and caught him.

1.) He asked JESUS to save him. Not the other disciples who were in the same boat he was in! (that'll preach!) Sometimes we ask for help from people who don't have the power or track record to help us. If Jesus gave the vision, He has the answers for every situation you face.

2.) Jesus IMMEDIATELY stretched out His hand and caught him. HOW CLOSE WAS HE? He lost focus right before he got to Jesus! Sometimes we give up/in right before the breakthrough or end result. We lose focus, faith, sight, etc. and sink...WITH JESUS RIGHT THERE! How many times have you given up right before the blessing? The breakthrough? The victory?
