Flag Day is celebrated each year on June 14 in the United States.
This day commemorates the adoption of the American flag on June 14, 1777, when the Second Continental Congress officially approved the design of our nation’s flag.
Today, we honor the Stars and Stripes as a symbol of freedom, unity, and the enduring spirit of America.
🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to FDOT District 2 for the prompt response to our phone call earlier this week. We reached out on Tuesday regarding the need for grass cutting and sidewalk edging along the right-of-way areas in Mayport Village, from the Wonderwood Connector to the St. Johns River Ferry.
Just three days later, the FDOT contractor was on-site and hard at work, not only mowing and edging but also removing tires and other debris from the area.
We greatly appreciate the quick action and commitment to maintaining our community. Thank you for your outstanding service.

A Vision for the Future
We are excited to reveal two new architectural renderings of the St. Johns River Lighthouse at its proposed new home along the riverfront in Mayport Village.
Created by Studio-Swaim, these illustrations help bring our vision to life by showing how a fully restored Lighthouse could welcome both residents and visitors to appreciate, understand, and enjoy Mayport Village’s rich maritime heritage. The renderings build on the momentum generated by the successful completion of our six-month feasibility studyand illustrate the possibilities ahead as we continue working with community partners, including Naval Station Mayport, the City of Jacksonville, and the Mayport Waterfront Partnership, toward relocation and restoration.
While there is still more work ahead of us, these images offer an inspiring glimpse of what the future could hold for this historic landmark and the positive impact it would have on Mayport Village, and all of Northeast Florida.
