Cool Things You Can Do With a Laser: Part 1
Hat patches might be one of my favorite laser projects because they look way more complicated than they actually are.

These engraved stitch details create the look of embroidery without needing a sewing machine, and layering materials gives the patch so much dimension.
It’s one of those projects that makes people say, “Wait… you made THAT with a laser?”

I was NOT prepared for how emotional this little project was going to make me !

I’ve really been missing my girls being little lately… so I decided to turn some of my favorite old photos into tiny vintage-inspired magnet frames

These were made using the brand new xTool M2 — and honestly the print + cut process felt SO seamless. I printed the photos first, switched over to the laser cartridge, cut everything out, and paired them with mirrored gold acrylic frames engraved with vintage detailing 💛

Now I have these tiny little keepsakes of some of my favorite memories sitting on my fridge looking like miniature heirlooms and I’m obsessed.

I feel like this project perfectly captures what makes the new xTool M2 so fun.

The second I saw these beautifully finished wood pieces, I immediately wanted to test the inkjet print feature on them… and I was SO impressed with how bright everything turned out.

I was able to print these vintage-inspired illustrations directly onto the wood, then switch over and laser cut each piece into the cutest little postage stamp shapes — all from the same machine!!

The next xTool M2 combines full-color printing + laser cutting in one beginner-friendly setup, which opens up a completely different kind of project possibilities. And I am so excited how EASY it is!

This weekend wasn’t super busy for once.

We still had things to do, but everything felt a little slower, a little calmer, and a lot more intentional. The kind of weekend where you finally exhale a little. ❤️
