Little help for those of you who want to keep your coaching / consulting standards high and tight.

Limit personal access to you, giving it only to those who have proven to be OBJECTIVELY EXCEPTIONAL.

Lots of feathers get ruffled with this one.

Objectively Exceptional means the prospective client has accomplished remarkable things relative to the general population.

Example:

Let’s say someone healed from a life threatening terminal disease, using inner resources and natural methods.

Amazing. Beautiful. Truly.

That’s a SUBJECTIVELY
exceptional accomplishment.

Just not that rare.

Because thousands upon thousands of people have done so.

Now, if that same man or woman went on to write a book about their journey, sharing specific descriptions (not prescriptions) of what they did, and has gotten many examples of positive feedback from others who have achieved similar results?

This is OBJECTIVELY Exceptional.

Remarkable.

Category of One in the world of impact.

If you’re an extremely high level expert, failing to reserve your personal time and attention for only the most Objectively Exceptional clientele may cause severe problems for you.

There’s a lot more on this, which we’ll be covering in the upcoming Sell With Soul Workshop, part of the Team Human Summer Camp Series.

For now, here’s a graphic you can use immediately.

Gotta give a shout out to a few guys I’m getting to go deep with these days.

Currently there are 5 individuals who are actively engaging in ongoing coaching, through our weekly calls and voice mentoring.

Two are entrepreneurs.

Two are highly skilled professionals in their fields.

One is in startup mode.

All are so unique in their abilities and perspectives, that each call is a goldmine of insights, ā€œaha momentsā€ and unlocked energy.

They don’t know each other.

But they have a few special qualities in common.

Thought this might be useful
to you for your own journey.

#1: Insane levels of curiosity
Despite being accomplished and experience in their various realms, each of these men is absolutely hungry for more.

These guys (happens to be all guys at the moment) are never comfortable with what they ALREADY know - and I’ve yet to hear any of them try to defend their existing knowledge with the ā€œI’m too cool for schoolā€ attitude that halts so many people’s progress.

They’re constantly seeking to add to their understanding of themselves and grow their catalogue of distinctions.

#2: They are each confident in themselves and their skills, yet quick to ask great questions. I wouldn’t exactly call them humble. These are high self esteem guys who have recognized that it’s a sign of healthy ego to always want MORE confidence, so that they have even more to give.

#3: We laugh - often - and I’ve shared some truly embarrassing personal stories with each of them that I’d never be able to share outside of a private conversation… something that many clients would consider unprofessional and even offensive.

But these guys are all living real lives, and our shared senses of humor help to create a truly special space.

#4: This may be selfish, but I learn so much from every call with each one. These guys and their insatiable appetite for giving, growing, and gaining, inspires me like crazy.

Through their journey, they’ve been through a lot of coaches, and they each possess a hard earned discernment - so I’m extra grateful that we’ve all passed each other’s ā€œsniff test.ā€

And #5: They IMPLEMENT. No excuses, no sob stories, no ā€œdog ate my homeworkā€, and above all else… ZERO WHINING OR VICTIM MENTALITY.

I can’t imagine trying to support someone who was so devoted to their excuses that they settle for unconditional approval and the cheap dopamine that comes from weak coaching.

These guys are self-sovereign, open minded, big hearted, and a hell of a lot of fun to work with.

Takeaways

If you’re not getting professional support in your life to achieve what you want, your only other choice is the long and painful route of haphazard self study.

Imagine being told you’re going to appear on America’s (or your country’s) Got Talent - but you’ve never played an instrument or sang before.

If you do well, you win a bunch of money.

If you fail, you’ll be embarrassed in front of millions.

Would you watch a bunch of videos?

Would you read some books?

Or would you find and hire the best teachers you can - to not just make sure you merely SUCCEED, rock your performance, get a standing ovation, and walk away with the money - You’d need teachers who can show you how to make it impossible for you to FAIL.

Those are not the same thing ā˜šŸ½

Anyone who says they are serious about success (whatever that means for them)

They always have great coaches.

Meanwhile, those who are in a state of constant struggle, who are always ā€œalmostā€ there (but never quite cresting the mountaintop)…

Carry the expensive weight of pride as a lone wolf, operating silently and without feedback, often blindly stumbling over the same obstacles again and again, for years.

So yeah, I am extremely grateful and proud to walk alongside these exceptional individuals.

And may your own journey continue to give you exactly what you’re putting into it.

Disaster Averted:

An Adventurous Case Study
in Peaceful Remedy

This post isn’t written for the masses.

In fact, I’d be surprised if anyone who is NOT already a serious student or master of communication even reads past this paragraph.

But for the few of my friends here (some I’ll tag) who are professional persuaders and intuitively inspired influencers…

I think you might enjoy this one.

The Setup:

Friday I booked an Airbnb for my companion and I to stay for a few weeks.

(will share more on our special dynamic soon… it’s beyond anything I’ve heard of or even knew was possible)

The cost of this 23 night stay?

Well, it was not insignificant.

We got to the location a few hours later.

And we were instantly, painfully, disappointed.

False advertising to say the least.

After walking the property, taking pictures, and managing our own states

We contacted both the host and Airbnb, to get a refund and go on to find more suitable accommodations.

Guess what?

Both the host and Airbnb were committed to ignoring our situation

and keeping the money.

All of it.

So my companion and I brainstormed.

Got in sync.

Aligned our energies and intentions.

Then we went to work.

Perhaps I’ll share more soon (or she will) about the central role she played.

For now, I think it’s better to just share the emails I sent to the CEO of the host company that manages the property.

Because they worked.

Again I must stress that what you’re about to read is professional grade persuasion that most people have no time or interest in understanding.

But for the masters and students reading this, I believe you’re in for a treat.

(And I think you’re gonna love the buildup to the PPS in the second email, as that’s the final copy that I believe triggered a swift result)

Thank you for inspiring me, and for reading.

First Email: Friday 7:58pm
==========================

Good evening Mr (redacted),

Jesse Elder here, a would-be guest at your (redacted) property.

Man to man, I always want issues like this brought to my attention in my business and you seem to be a solid operator yourself.

Here’s where we’re at.

The description and difference between ā€œnon-traditionally walled bedroomsā€

and having absolutely zero enclosed sleeping spaces

is egregiously deceptive.

I don’t think you wrote that, and possibly didn’t even know it was posted in the description.

The reality is

As a male entrepreneur working closely with a female colleague in a professional setting, there’s no way to ethically share an Airbnb that has no separate doors, let alone rooms.

While the upper loft does have a curtain across the area facing the rest of the space, there’s no full enclosure.

Not quite the dictionary or legal definition of a ā€œroomā€ or ā€œbedroomā€.

Then there are the used towels, and the air freshener that’s been proven to be toxic by many health professionals, causing headaches and nausea, which my colleague and I experienced.

I’ve run businesses my whole life as I’m sure you have, and I know how things can slip beneath the radar.

So I don’t blame you personally, and again out of respect, thought you’d want to know what’s happening in the property that bears your name and reputation.

And… As I’m sure you know - many of the reviews online for your management company are already incredibly bad.

I’ve had my haters too, but for different reasons, mostly my lack of humor around communism and poking fun at politics.

So I don’t want to become one of yours, and I’d like to think that TQC was missed somehow, and that you’re simply not aware of any of this.

Hard to imagine a man with the presence and integrity I see in the photo on your company website, actually being aware of something like this and being cool with it.

So I am simply and peacefully requesting a full refund and immediate return of the fees paid.

No harm no foul, and we can each go our separate ways in respect.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my email.

And your response is keenly anticipated.

Regards,

Jesse Elder

No response from either the Host or Airbnb, so I sent this.

Second Email: Saturday 8:37am
==========================

Mr (redacted), good morning.

I want to acknowledge a mistake on my part.

Yesterday I wrongly used the term

ā€œNon-traditionally walled bedroomsā€

When in fact the exact phrase was

ā€œDoes not have traditional walled bedroomsā€

As a professional copywriter, I was puzzled and curious as to how I’d miss that.

So I went back to check - and that’s when I saw the shocking reason why I was mistaken.

(See image)

The single disclaimer is geniusly placed at the bottom of a large copy block - where it is least likely to be seen.

But the real mistake on my part happened because of this:

The beginning of the next paragraph draws the eye to the words

Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2.

In copywriting there’s a technique called ā€œpullā€ where the eye drawn by the brain’s goal of efficiency.

The words ā€œBedroomā€

(Used twice, in prominent position with plenty of white space)

ā€œPullā€ the eye directly towards them and right past the part about the total lack of bedrooms.

I’m guessing no one’s brought this to your attention, so I hope these emails help you to get things sorted out.

The smooth phrasing

The incredibly efficient placement

and (most critically in this situation) the outright false use of the term Bedroom

twice

Is something you may want to look into as CEO.

I wouldn’t be too hard on whoever wrote that description, personally.

I mean, if they can fool someone who’s widely regarded as one of the worlds leading experts on communication and educating consumers on how to spot frauds, they deserve a raise!

But I’m guessing you’d probably want them using their superpowers for good, not evil, so I’ll leave it to you to decide what’s best (it’s your reputation and company after all).

I’ll wait until Monday morning before taking this whole experience online and sharing it publicly with my audience - with all names involved - as a live example of peaceful communication between leaders, and also a case study in due diligence.

Best regards,

Jesse Elder

PS I also realize that sometimes email goes to spam, and you might not even be getting these.

PPS If needed I’ll be happy to head over to your office and confirm that you got these, so we can sort this out in person if that’s easier for you.

=========================

If you’re a professional persuader, I’m sure you can see the many psychological methods used in these emails to obtain the best desired result - for all involved.

But what’s more important are the intent and beliefs - and most critically, the WILL - that’s underneath the words, that fuel them and drive the result home.

Because words without conviction can be slapped together by anyone with access to an LLM.

And if you’ve read this far, I’m imagining your own skill and ability firing off in beautiful ways… may we all continue to rise in ways that are truly for the highest good of all.

Few things will suck the energy
out of your Life than trying to get unambitious people to have ambition.

Few things in Life will give you
more energy than being around
and working alongside people with ambition.

Guard your borders carefully.

The small handful of entrepreneurs I know personally who are creating actually useful products with Claude, Manus, Gemini, et al

Also have deep embodiment habits and practices.

They spend enormous amounts of time outside, hiking and swimming, cycling, running, training martial arts, and other vitality increasing activities

They make it a priority to regularly invest time in deep, screen free conversations with their spouses / partners. Real intimacy is an endlessly important behavior for them.

They eat clean, supplement well, and sleep early.

They are fun to talk with, not just because they know a lot (and are learning more all the time)… but also because they are incredible listeners, constantly curious and eager to hear what others are up to.

They are remarkably present.

When you’re around them, phones are a rarity unless they’re showing you their work through mutual agreement.

They tend to laugh easily, and deeply.

These are the ones who I think have the greatest chance to avoid becoming tools embedded in the machinery of the Matrix.

Like Neo, they seem to be able to enter and more importantly, exit the Matrix at will.

They tend to be guided by something far deeper and truer than an algorithm.

These are the ones I believe have the best chance of making it through The Great Bifurcation.
