Think about how much energy it takes to stay angry. To rehearse what happened. To keep the wound open just enough to remind yourself why you're justified.
It is exhausting. And it costs us β in our marriages, our friendships, our parenting, our sense of peace.
Forgiveness isn't weakness. It is one of the wisest investments you can make in your own wellbeing and in the health of your relationships.
We know retreats can feel intimidating. Showing up somewhere new, not knowing what to expect. We get it. That's exactly why we've designed this day to be gentle, unhurried, and completely pressure free.
You will listen to some readings and reflections. You will have quiet time to journal and think. Group discussion is very limited, and sharing is always, always optional.
You just have to show up. We'll take care of the rest.

We all know true forgiveness isn't easy.
It isn't. It is some of the hardest work a person can do. And it matters β not just for your spiritual life but for your relational life. The research is clear. Unresolved resentment affects our physical health, our mental health, and the quality of every close relationship we have.
Here's what we also know β you don't have to do this work alone, and you don't have to do it all in one day. What you can do on May 15 is begin. Or go a little deeper than you've been able to go on your own.
This retreat is a quiet, reflective space. Poems. Readings. Guided thoughts on forgiveness. Personal reflection time. You will not be put on the spot. You will not be asked to share anything you aren't ready to share.
What you will find is a room full of people who understand β because they are carrying something too.

Forgiveness is not about forgetting what happened.
Itβs about learning how to carry it differently.
That kind of shift doesnβt usually happen in the middle of a busy week or between responsibilities. It takes space, intention, and a willingness to pause.
This retreat is a chance to step away and begin that work in a thoughtful, supported environment.
