Thank you everyone for such a special Saturday night — a 10-hour wave 💙

Much love to LWS, Asphodèle, Peder Mannerfelt, Sobolik, nguyendowsXP, and every artist who took us on a journey 🛣️ To Subbass for the sound, Nitemind for the lighting, Body Art for the decorations, and every single person who helped make this party happen 🫂

And to all the beautiful dancers — thank you for bringing the energy and the magic 🔮🧚

We’re still floating. Hoping you’re carrying a little piece of that feeling into your week ✨🤭

big day energy 🛞💛 “Final Drive” EP is out everywhere now — the newest split in our Kindergarten series 🪢

what started as years of mutual admiration 🪞, traded dubs 📡 and ideas moving back and forth across time zones 🌎🌍 eventually led and to meet in a london studio 🏘, where the first sketches for this record came together. from there, their contrasting approaches locked in 🔏 immediately — Sobolik’s haphazard flair 🎆 meeting georg-i’s frenetic precision 🥽 — and the tracks evolved over months of exchange into a focused set of high-pressure club tools.

the collaborative cuts move with force 🧱: “Forced Induction” pairs insistent, rhythmic synths with big, stompy bass and drums 🥁 while buried vocal chops and secondary melodies worm their way around the soundscape 🪲

“Overtorqued” starts in glassier space, building in intensity 🏗️ around distorted horn sounds before slamming home a huge morphing bassline, stalagmite stabs and a pummelling beat 🌋 — a full throttle dancefloor moment

on the solo sides 🤺 ‘Surface Tension’ leans into a trancy sound palette and a nervous, staccato energy, with filters 🚿 rolling over the mix in a satisfying dance 🫧 Sobolik’s ‘Short Shift’ is a big bompty stepper with a blown-out 🌬️ and somehow jaunty bassline, chimes and bells ringing around an illegible robotic 🤖 vocal sample like a corrupted answer machine message and a recurring swelling of bright light that threatens to swallow up the track 🔔

Artist Highlight: LWS (US debut!) 🫆🫦

LWS is a Scottish DJ and music producer based in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 From showing a deep 😮‍💨 interest in electronic music from his early 🕰️ teens, he first gained recognition in 2021 for his acclaimed releases on Glasgow labels Redstone Press and TDSR. In 2024, LWS released the ‘Palloon EP’ on Call Super and Parris’ ‘can you feel the sun’ 🌤️ imprint, which showed the young artist’s unique signature ✋✍️ sound on full display for the first time. Shortly after, the track ‘Gum Seleks’ was featured on the esteemed TraTraTrax compilation 😈series ‘no pare, sigue sigue’. Described as the track that grabbed the title 🥇 for ‘most impressive synth line of 2024’, it was present on both Mixmag and The Quietus’ ‘best electronic music 📋 of 2024’ lists.

2025 saw LWS return to ‘can you feel the sun’ with the ‘All Of The Chaos’ 😵‍💫 EP - a record which further cemented 🧱 his now singular sound, blending the weird with the functional, and his innate skill for tension 🏑building with the impacts to match. The beginning of 2026 🗓️ saw TraTraTrax release a full length record from LWS entitled ‘Gubbins’. Described as sounding “like a freewheeling collaboration 🤼 between Matías Aguayo and “Spastik”-era Richie Hawtin”.

this saturday 💜 Artist Highlight: Asphodèle

As much a dynamic artist 🖌️ as a natural educator, Asphodèle has been making big waves 🌀 in the LA club scene and the dance music digisphere. Her ‘inside-the-blend’ DJ demonstration clips deconstruct the polymetric 🌐 mixing, genre-hopping and selection knowledge that animates 🫟 her sophisticated craft. Asphodèle brings powerful singing chops 🩺 and a fine-honed rhythmic sensitivity 🎇 to her live sets, which wed etheral songwriting to futuristic ⚙️ body-shaking percussion. Asphodèle will perform live ❕to capture our hearts and bodies as the party kicks into full swing 💗

The next track from ‘Final Drive’ EP is here — ‘Overtorqued’ by out now via soundcloud & bandcamp 🫠🧡

Overtorqued” starts in glassier space, building 🧱 in intensity around distorted horn 📯 sounds before slamming home 🚪 a huge morphing bassline ✴️ stalagmite stabs and a pummelling beat. Higher frequencies make way 🌌 for the nostril-rattling drum charge 🔌 as the track progresses before a yearning lead melody 🚿🩺 folds back into the mix. A proper “let’s have it” dancefloor moment at full throttle.

Artist Highlight 🔆 Peder Mannefelt

The man with the inimitable skullet touches down from Sweden 🇸🇪 for his first NYC 🗽 DIY 🛠️ appearance since 2019. Known for skewing techno’s various adjuncts 🫟 in unique and thrilling ways 🚏 Peder’s style is one that is always evolving 🪁 never stagnant. Having honed his craft under guises such as Roll The Dice and The Subliminal Kid, his most notable outings of late ⏰ have come 🛣️ by way of a trio of genre-smelting singles under the name Aasthma (with Pär Grindvik), and a thoroughly demented, career-high 12” 🥏 for Blawan and Pariah’s label, Voam.
