Two days, two different kinds of celebration.❤️ Yesterday was full of laughter, friends, and so much joy. Today was slower, quieter… with a few big feelings in between.

Motherhood teaches you to pause, listen, and follow your child’s lead - even when it’s not what you planned.

And in those quiet moments, I saw something so special -
a little girl learning to understand her own heart,
and trusting me enough to share it.

That, to me, is the real gift.🫶🏼

A lovely book we recently read together!📚🫠

Luv, Kush and the Garden Secret by .

I started reading it with my younger one, but as always, my older one couldn’t resist joining in…because you’re never too old for a good read-aloud 🥰🫠

Inspired by a real-life moment, the story follows Luv and Kush as they discover a tortoise laying eggs in their garden. What follows is such a gentle and beautiful journey - the children patiently protect the eggs, care for them, and finally watch them hatch and make their way to the watering hole.

This story is simple, yet so meaningful. It gently encourages curiosity, kindness, and noticing the little wonders around us - something I truly value when it comes to books for my kids.

I loved the illustrations - soft, colorful, and full of warmth.

It’s one of those stories that doesn’t try too hard, yet leaves a lasting impression. Perfect for young kids, and also a lovely way to start small conversations about nature and kindness at home.

If you’re looking for a book that’s simple, meaningful, and leaves a lasting impression, this is definitely worth picking up.

The cake was sweet, the giggles were sweeter, and this girl made every second sparkle! Having her best friend by her side made her birthday EXTRA magical. She was over the moon the entire day - and my heart is just as full. 🥰

Navika requested for a strawberry cake and that’s what I made for her. I had no energy to make the cake but when she requested that she wished the cake baked by me, I knew I wanted to do it. Fun fact- I never made a strawberry cake before and this cake just hits the right taste buds, like a flavor explosion in every bite.😇

Happy Birthday to my firstborn—the one who made me a mom and showed me the true meaning of love.🥰

I won’t say, “I blinked and now she’s 7,” because I’ve truly lived and felt every moment of these past seven years. Every day, I learn something new about her, and her personality shines brighter than ever.

I once read that you really parent your first child—learning and growing alongside them. With each subsequent child, you gain more confidence as a parent. I love this perspective because it reassures me that every step I take, every lesson I learn, is helping me become the parent she deserves.

Here are 7 things you should know about her:

1️⃣ She LOVES all things art—her creativity and skills grow stronger by the day. (More on this later!)
2️⃣ She has started exploring poetry, creating rhyming verses that actually make sense! 😮
3️⃣ Her new official favorite color is PURPLE. 💜
4️⃣ She’s witty, humorous, smart, and silly—all at the same time.
5️⃣ You can’t fool her easily—she questions everything and always has a logical explanation.
6️⃣ She is constantly creating. You’ll never find her idle; she’s always making something.
7️⃣ Her love for reading is no secret. This year, she’s stepping into a magical new adventure—we’re introducing her to the Harry Potter series, and she’s going to be thrilled!
