NC College Connect is back for the 2026-27 school year. And juniors, it’s time to make sure you’re ready!

This year, all public school students in North Carolina will receive direct admission.

If you have a 2.8 GPA and above and meet NC College Connect program requirements, you will be eligible for direct admission at a select list of participating colleges and universities.

If you have below a 2.8, you will get direct admission to your local community college.

GPA at the close of junior year is a crucial factor. The higher it is, the more colleges you will be admitted to.

Look for a letter in the mail in September and an email to your CFNC student account.
