LEAPS class fun! This week we did bubble paintings, dodgeball, lava lamp experiments, water bucket & sponge relay, recycled bubble blower STEM activity, a few ending games 🤩 after our water game we sat down for our emotions lesson which was the conflict escalator by .
Our response to conflict can either escalate or deescalate the situation. We discussed a few examples and what kind of responses escalate VS de-escalate

One of my crafts for LEAPS classes this summer is Water Gun paintings! Use a funnel to fill up the water guns with 2 parts paint and 1 part water. Shake it up and spray at the canvases 🤩 simple and easy summer day craft!

In LEAPS summer sessions kids will create art with bubbles!
🫧Mix some food coloring with bubble juice and blow bubbles on a canvas 🫧

During one-on-one emotion coaching sessions we discuss different emotional intelligence lessons while doing some STEM activities!

This lesson was about the circle of control, what things in life are IN our control, and what things are OUT of our control.

While we built with the rocks we talked more openly and conversationally about these important life lessons that can prevent so much anxiety and anger.

Sidewalk chalk paint! Easy and fun summer activity!
Mix 1 part cornstarch with 1 part water then pour into ice cube trays. Mix in some food coloring and add popsicle sticks in each slot then freeze overnight!

After a 10 week recovery from ankle reconstruction surgery I am back in business for summer group LEAPS classes! 🎉🤗

LEAPS classes include games, crafts, science experiments, STEM activities, water activities, emotional intelligence lessons and more!

Classes can be set up in a host family’s backyard and set to their schedule, they can invite their neighbors and friends and sign up for 4 class sessions at a time!
