The difference between what I do and what many others might do is simple. I do it with passion, and I’ll do it for as long as I can.

Futsal is the sport that made me. It shaped the way I see the game, how I think, how I teach, and how I lead. Everything I am in football started on a futsal court.

Growing up in Brazil playing futsal gave me creativity, confidence, decision-making, and resilience. It opened doors that eventually brought me to the United States, where I was able to play soccer and earn quite a few awards, including a First-Team All-American and Scholar First-Team All-American honors in college.

If I have one regret, it’s that I didn’t try to play futsal at the highest level when I had the chance. I chose soccer instead, not because it was better, but because the opportunities simply weren’t there.

That experience is what drives me today.

My goal is to make sure that anyone who truly wants to play futsal doesn’t have to abandon the sport they love due to a lack of opportunities. I want players to be able to chase futsal the same way others chase soccer, without having to compromise their passion.

This goes far beyond coaching. It’s about giving back to the sport that gave me everything. It’s about creating pathways where none existed before. It’s about doing this work with intention, honesty, and passion every single day.

Futsal made me.
Now it’s my responsibility to give it back.

The bond between player and coach is built on more than training, it’s built on trust, effort, and shared love for the game. ⚽️

Futsal is so much more than a sport, it’s a powerful tool for developing quick thinking, sharp decision-making, ball control, and teamwork. The constant touches, the ball close to your feet, learning to protect and move it with precision… these are skills that make a huge difference when transitioning to the big field.

My goal? To put futsal on the step it truly deserves to be; recognized as the birthplace of great football and a foundation for every player’s development.

Fortunate are those who turn passion into purpose. ⚽️ Grateful to be working towards a brighter future for youth development in the U.S. – and there’s still so much more to come! 🙌

Feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing team and families in our program. ❄️ Winter is here, and with it comes more opportunities for players to enjoy the greatest sport on Earth: Futsal. While the sport is not yet fully recognized as its own, we are steadily changing perspectives and making it accessible year-round.

The road is long and challenging, but I remain committed to making Futsal more relevant at the youth, college, and professional levels. Partnering with has been a dream opportunity to push this vision closer to reality.

My days and nights are surrounded by the sport—it’s the last thing on my mind before bed and the first thing I think about when I wake up. I’m incredibly fortunate to dedicate my full attention and efforts to making Futsal more enjoyable for kids while helping families avoid the often abusive systems that require them to travel 3+ hours for a single game in “elite competition” . There is so much to be developed in this country, and it starts with us. We’re making slow but significant progress to change the way this sport is viewed and accepted in the broader sports scene.

A great time at United Futsal NTC East. Sharing the court with these great minds made it more special! ✅

The National Training Camp is, in my opinion, the best camp in the United States. Top players and coaches from all the US and world met in Richmond, VA for a week of high level competition and a lot of fun.

Glad I got to share some knowledge and concepts with such talented players and also show them how to get it done during the coaches match.
