As my term on the Board of Education ends this evening I want to say thank you again to the people of Cleveland County for giving me the opportunity to serve you. My prayers for the returning board members, the new board members and administrators as they continue to face tough decisions, especially during these challenging times. Go !

We're trying to gather all of my signs but I'm sure there are still some out there. If you see one please send me a message. If there's still one in your yard, send me a message and I'll come get it or toss it or think of something creative to do with it. I always think there should be something "pinterest" worthy that could be done with them. Thank you all again for your support.

I’m disappointed tonight, but I’m very proud of the accomplishments that have been made in Cleveland County Schools while I’ve served on the Board of Education. It has been my honor and privilege to serve Kings Mountain District Schools and Cleveland County Schools. A part of my heart will always be with our school system, and I will continue to pray for the leadership, students and staff. Thank you so much to all who have supported me.

The dictionary defines service as the work performed by a person who is helping. Service is active.

I would consider it an honor to continue serving you and the students of Cleveland County.

Good public education helps build the entire community. I realize that that there have been a lot of posts today, but there is a lot on the line. Please make sure everyone you know has voted and votes to keep leadership, experience, and compassion on the Cleveland County School Board.
