Isn't summer time great? Longer days, hanging out at the pool, reading books, sleeping in. Ahhh...it all sounds grand. Until a few weeks from now when your kids are saying, "I'm bored." Join us for a musical adventure! This interactive camp will include many different musical topics including music performance, music appreciation and music theory. Open to students with or without musical experience. Your kids will have a great week learning about and experiencing music "hands on" and will even have a performance at the end of the week!

Instructors are Beverly Ailiff and Becky Dickson. Both Beverly and Becky are piano instructors and have experience teaching children from Pre-school through Middle School.

Hello All - Christmas is just around the corner which means time to listen to all that wonderful Christmas MUSIC!!! If anyone is looking for a great Christmas gift for your kids, I have a friend selling a keyboard for just $25. It's a Casio CTK-481 and includes a stand. It's a great starter keyboard if your son or daughter is interested in taking lessons! Let me know if you're interested!

After a fun summer it's time to gear up all those music classes and piano lessons! Here are the openings that I have:

Homeschool Piano Lessons available in morning or early afternoon
Preschool/Homeschool Group Music Class (for ages 4 to 6) is every other Thursday at 11:00. We have so much fun in this class using the Music for Little Mozarts curriculum.

Homeschool Lower Elementary Group Class on Thursdays at 1:00. This is a general music class which includes singing and we use BoomWhackers to start teaching the kids how to read music.

Upper Elementary Homeschool Recorder Class - if you would like your child to learn how to play recorder in a group music class setting, I have openings in my class on Mondays at 11:00.

At this time, my after school piano lessons are full, but I have a wait list. Thanks so much for your support and sharing my name!!!

Our group music class for 3 to 6 year olds started yesterday and we had a blast meeting our new friends "Mozart Mouse" and "Beethovan Bear." This class meets every other Thursday at 11:00. Next class is April 26th. Contact me for more information!

Hey Home School Parents - are you looking for a way to add Music to your curriculum? Beverly's Piano Studio offers group music classes for home school students. This is offered as a 45 minute lesson on a bi-weekly basis. The 3 to 6 year old class begins on Thursdays in April. I've also had requests for a 7 to 9 year old class and I'm trying to get that one scheduled. Please pass the word and let me know if you're interested in either class!

Group Music Class for ages 3 to 6 years old starts in April!

Class Format: 45 minutes includes singing, dancing, playing simple rhythm instruments, learning basic music concepts and exploring various instruments and composers.

When: Every other Thursday at 11:00 am. April 12, 26 and May 10 & 24.

Cost: $10 per class. Only $9 per class if all 4 are paid up-front.

Welcome to my new Facebook site! Beverly's Piano Studio is an in-home piano studio in the Mountain Island Area of Charlotte convenient to NW Charlotte and Mount Holly. I currently have openings for weekday lessons in the morning and early afternoon. These are perfectly geared for home school kids. Please pass my name around if you know anyone who is interested.

My piano lessons are based on a traditional reading based method. I also incorporate a lot of games and fun hands-on learning activities to help teach concepts. I try to tailor my instruction to fit the unique learning style of each student.

I will also be starting group music lessons for ages 3+. These fun interactice sessions will feature singing, dancing and playing simple instruments. A new musical concept is introduced at each lesson. And, every lesson also features a special theme such as learning about an instrument or composer or style of music.
