The DMV should not exist. They’re the most inept, inefficient department that can’t handle the business they have. I attempted to make an appointment last month, but their system said appointments weren’t available until March. And for some silly reason, they can’t figure out how to use technology to their advantage and they required me to come in for a photo since my last renewal was on line. This was the line at 7:15 am and they didn’t even give me a ticket until 9:38am. Now, it’s 12:32pm and there’s no indication I’ll ever be seen. One woman with a space labeled “cashier” is calling the numbers that their computer program is already calling. What a joke! The government needs to get ENTIRELY out if this business which they’ve proven for the 40+ years I’ve been a driver that they can’t perform in any responsible way!
