Disney Week inspired us to play with our changing emotions! We designed different versions of Mr. Potato Head (obv since TS4 is out!) and discussed what those emotions mean, look like, and feel like!

🐚 What a way to kick off Beach Week! Thanks for the cool starfish that we spent (lots of) time coloring this afternoon! 🏖 The kiddos loved this activity and placed them on their bellies during savasana at the end of class! Some serious beach magic up in here 🐠

🍃 Ended Nature Week by growing our Mindful 🌳 Tree! A fav activity to hear the great things this wild kiddos say about themselves 😍 Once they have their leaf, they must read it to themselves 10 times before hanging it up as a l’il mantra reminder of how fab they all are. Our personal fav, not pictured, “I am smart like a paleontologist” 🤓💕

Rollin’ into the weekend after our first week of camp like 🤩✌️🤩

If you’re feeling that summer boredom, give you kid a marker, blindfold them and ask them to draw a frog, a flower, a shark, or a person living in an elaborate three-story home with maple trees, specific landscaping and a door in a completely different color 🏡 props to for taking one for the team on that one. This activity allowed the kids to flow freely on paper guided only by what they saw in their mind’s eye! 🔮 And resulted in lots and lots of giggles when we did the big reveal!

Was hoping to get some real solid lemon squinty faces😝 but our class happily finished an entire lemon AND lime! 🍋

It was incredible to be surrounded by our fellow HUG Grant recipients to learn from and connect to their stories and continue to use that energy to guide us! 🌈 and all of their wonderful friends are doing some SERIOUS work in this city ya'll. .
