5th grade classrooms were under construction today as students participated in a construction themed EOG Fun Day! 5th graders tested their knowledge of 5th grade Science and Math standards as they worked in teams to answer review questions and collect building materials. Then, they used their materials to complete a STEAM challenge to build marshmallow and spaghetti towers. We had a blast!

Our 5th graders celebrated their Motion & Stability unit in the most exciting way—with a NASCAR Force & Motion Fun Day! 🏁
Students put their learning into action by solving measurement-based math challenges, racing through scooter relays, designing and building edible race cars, and putting their creations to the test on the track.
It was a day full of energy, teamwork, creativity, and lots of fun. They had an absolute blast!

To finish up all of the great learning that the 5th graders have done in their Heat & Matter Science Unit, students participated in a Heat & Matter Cooking Fun Day. Students were weighing, mixing, cooking, melting, spreading, eating and learning! They had a blast!

For those new to the school, the Cougar Dash is a fun run fundraiser – students collect pledges from friends and family, and then we all come together on November 20th to cheer them on as they run on our campus!

Our goal this year is to raise $45,000 to support our amazing students, teachers, and staff!
