November wrapped up on a high note as 11 students from UNC Charlotte's Public Policy program made a strong presence at the 2024 APPAM Fall Research Conference organized by Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM)! Each student contributed actively, showcasing the strength and dedication of our program.
๐ Emily Mikkelsen, Mahzabin Fatema Kabir and Fustel Mwamba presented their respective research works that sparked meaningful discussions.
๐ค Kingsford Onyina and Fustel skillfully chaired two impactful panels, leading meaningful discussions with confidence.
๐ฃ๏ธ Samantha Schuermann, Kingsford, and Mahzabin shared their expertise as discussants, adding depth and perspective during three distinct panels.
๐ Jennifer Beightley, Sarah Paul and Kingsford played a key role as poster judges, contributing to the rigorous evaluation process.
A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Stearns and Dr. Stephanie Potochnick for enriching the conference with their work and motivating students with unwavering support.
Itโs moments like these that demonstrate the strength of our community and the dedication of our faculty and students to advancing public policy research and practice. We are so proud of everyone who represented Charlotte with such distinction!
