Congratulations are in order!

United States Marine Corps MAJ James "Jim" Capers Jr. (Retired) received a call from the White House yesterday to let him know that he will soon be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his valiant and heroic actions during the Vietnam War in 1967!

MAJ Capers is also scheduled to be inducted into The US Veterans Hall of Fame this Fall as an early inductee for the Class of 2026!

The dates and times for both occasions are pending, so stay tuned!

As the Artemis II shuttle begins its return trip to Earth, we pause to recognize Major General retired Charles F Bolden.
A retired NASA astronaut and advisor, he was inducted into the U.S. Veterans Hall of Fame within the class of 2024 for his service in the United States Marine Corp.

His boundary breaking achievements paved the way for many of today’s missions and we are eternally grateful for this living legend!
