Haven't you heard? Our new interns have entered the Villa! π₯π€βοΈ
Introducing our 2026 Public Fellow Internship Program, supported by the ! Over the course of 10 weeks, our interns will work at various community-focused organizations across the Charlotte region. They will receive hands-on experience, professional career development, and networking opportunities.
Are you or your student interested in becoming a bombshell intern in the future? Follow us to keep up with our interns, login to Hire-A-Niner for job and internship listings, and explore the different programs we offer on the Skills & Experience tab of our website! ππ€πΌ
Recent graduates have access to our Coursera Skill Pathway Program for the next 6 months.
Certifications developed with employers and projects that provide real-world experience. Organizations such as ADP, Epic Games, Google, Meta, CVS Health, Tally, SAP, Adobe, Xbox, IBM, and more are involved.
The time committment can be daunting, but you got this. Compare it to a regular semester course or certificate programs that can take much longer or do not provide the same level of skill development.
And if you are off for the summer and not taking courses, this is a perfect opportunity to enroll in the program and complete a certificate. They can take several months to complete if you commit to a couple of hours each week. Commit to a few more hours during the break and you will be golden!

Summer Meet Ups are here! This week we are covering career decision making, something that doesn't always feel easy or reassuring.
If you are not certain whether you can find something that aligns your interests with your skills and a desirable salary, this would be helpful for you. If you can't determine which skills feel most suitable to enhance, this would help. If choosing whether an internship, project, or research would advance you, you guessed it, this is for you.
Join us via Zoom this week! Head to our events page on our main website for the access link.

Our Global Career Quest in London kicked off this week! The current cohort of students started the week with a walking tour around some of the most famous sites like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Parliament. We hosted an alumni panel with Philip and Brad, pictured in slide 2 and 3. Many more dinners will be had as they explore the city. Their welcome dinner at Efes looks splendid. The crew is staying on Brick Lane!
The last few days they have been on employer visits at various locations. We can't wait to share more about those experiences!

The North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers (NCACE) annual conference was held on the campus of UNC Charlotte April 29-May 1, 2026 and our very own, Lori Brasile, co-chaired, leading the charge!
The Charlotte Career Center team represented the Queen City as roundtable and breakout session presenters, panel moderators, event planners, and more. Special thanks to Amy Browns for being a large part of the newest initiative with NCACE, the Employer Engagement Committee.
NCACEβs mission is to bring together all facets of business and post-secondary level educational institutions with the goal of economic growth, employment and professional development. With this shared purpose in mind, this yearβs conference theme, βQueen City Connections: Building the Future Together,β featured sessions exploring best practices on how universities and employers
are navigating the shifting dynamics of the early-talent landscape.

The Career Center student teams wrapped up their semester this weel at Topgolf! It was bittersweet. We have so many members of this team who are graduating. So many who have been with us for several years. And so many who will be back in the fall!
These students keep the Career Center afloat but even more importantly, they keep it alive (lively)!
Thank you all, truly.
