Chopin 6th graders in Ms. L-B’s social studies class learn about Roman infrastructure. These Aqueducts pictured were stone bridges that used gravity to bring fresh water to people in the cities.

Chopin Families, IAR testing for our 3rd–8th grade students begins Tuesday, March 3. This is an important assessment for both our students and our school community. Please help your child do their best by making sure they:
• Get a good night’s rest
• Eat a healthy breakfast
• Arrive at school on time

8th grade graduation pictures and kindergarten celebration pictures will happen on Thursday, March 5th. Each student will have 4 different poses. Students should wear appropriate dress attire. Students in 8th grade should not wear up dues or hair accessories that can get in the way of the graduation cap. Please don’t send any money on picture day. A proof will be sent home. You can place your order after checking it out. You’ll have about 2 weeks to order before the shipping fees apply. El Dia de la Foto de graduacion, va, ocurrir el jueves, cinco de marzo. Photos de graduacion para octavo grado, y photos de celebración para kinder. Los estudiantes, deben de vestirse en ropa formal y a propiada.
