Campus improvements this summer include a school-wide LED lighting conversion, improved parking lot lighting, asphalt maintenance, and additional long-term infrastructure investments designed to support safety, visibility, and energy efficiency across campus.

New Resurrection-branded lamp post banners will also be installed along Talcott and Oriole to strengthen campus identity and improve the school’s visibility throughout the surrounding community.

These exterior branding improvements will help strengthen Resurrection’s campus identity and presence within the community while continuing to enhance the student experience on campus.

Congratulations to Molly Brannigan for all her educational and personal accomplishments. Molly was awarded the Mary Lou Quinn Scholarship last week at a breakfast held at Crosby’s Kitchen in Niles, IL. Best of luck to you Molly on all your future endeavors!

Last week, the diamond was full of energy as future Bandits joined our coaches and softball players for our Future Bandit Softball Camp!

Campers spent the week building their skills, learning the fundamentals of the game, and having fun alongside fellow future Bandits. From fielding drills to batting practice, our coaches and the camp staff helped each athlete grow in confidence while developing their love for softball.

Thank you to all of the campers and families who spent part of their summer with us. We loved seeing so many future Bandits on campus and can't wait to watch you continue to grow both on and off the field!

Week 1 of 3rd–8th grade basketball camp is officially in the books!

Energy was high, skills are improving, and our athletes showed great effort all week long. Excited to keep the momentum going into week two!

From ambassadors to leaders. Last summer, Paola Espinosa and Hazel Liban attended the HOBY Leadership Seminar as student ambassadors. This summer, they returned as Junior Staff leaders, helping guide participants through leadership activities, team challenges, and the high-energy HOBY experience at Loyola University Chicago.

We are also proud of rising juniors Aubrey Pulido and Ava Evrard, who represented Resurrection this year as HOBY ambassadors, joining students from across Illinois to develop their leadership skills and learn how to make a positive impact in their communities.

At Resurrection, leadership opportunities like HOBY help our students discover their strengths, serve others, and grow into confident young women.

This year marked the inaugural launch of Bingo at Resurrection College Prep, and participation, energy, and excitement have grown each month. What started as a new idea has quickly become a favorite tradition, bringing current parents, alumnae, and community members together in a fun and welcoming way.

We’re grateful for the growing Bingo community that has formed throughout the year and for everyone who has helped make each event better than the last.

The next Bingo night is scheduled for August 14. Stay tuned, registration will open soon.

A new Media Lab is being created in the Publications space, featuring updated technology and a custom broadcast and news desk designed to support student broadcasting, journalism, media production, and storytelling.

The updated Media Lab will create new opportunities for students to develop communication, storytelling, and broadcasting skills while gaining valuable real-world experience in media and digital content creation.
