SMA’s Grades 1–5 Field Day 2026 is officially in the books, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish!

From nail-biting kickball finishes and epic soccer goals to some seriously soaked (but smiling!) faces at the balloon toss, our students brought incredible energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship to every single event.

This unforgettable day wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing teachers and parent volunteers who kept Field Day running smoothly.

Summer Garden Volunteers Needed!

Our beautiful St. Monica Catholic Academy campus gardens need a little extra love over the summer break! We are looking for volunteers to help with weeding and watering to keep our green spaces healthy and vibrant until school starts up again.

This is a wonderful way to enjoy the sunshine, give back to our school community, and get your hands a little dirty for a great cause!

Commitment: Sign up for one-week shifts throughout the summer.

Flexibility: You can choose to look after one or more of our four unique garden areas on campus and come when it works for your schedule.

Perk: Up to three Volunteer hours per week will be awarded for your hard work!

Our 4 Campus Garden Areas:

The Mont Clare flower beds and front flower pots (6)

The Carmen gardens - the Molly garden and the veggie garden

The Early Childhood Entrance garden (north entrance)

The Nottingham Garden - three beds along the building

Ready. Set. Summer!

The St. Monica Summerfest and 5K is officially happening on August 22! Whether you’re trying to set a new personal record in the 5K, taking a leisurely stroll with the family, or just coming for the food, drinks, and community vibes at Summerfest—there is something for everyone.

SMA’s middle school students welcomed the rising 6th graders upstairs with their annual middle school dodgeball tournament. Next year is sure to be full of learning, teamwork and laughs for the 2026/2027 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

SMA’s Mustang Mania kicks off tomorrow at 9:00am and our team is excited to welcome campers! Families should make sure to connect to the established Class Dojo as this will be used throughout camp.

Just a few reminders:

• All campers must bring a refillable water bottle daily.

• A light breakfast and daily snack will be provided by FSP. Campers should bring a packed lunch each day.

• Please note: Some food items may contain milk or be processed in facilities that handle nuts. If your camper has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please send a breakfast item and snack from home.

• Please ensure that all personal belongings, including water bottles, lunch boxes, extra clothing, and medication, are clearly labeled with your child’s name.

• Footwear: Campers should wear gym shoes every day to stay safe and ready for all of our active indoor and outdoor activities.

Who isn’t up for a friendly game of mini golf? Amelia and Bobby, along with a couple of friends, joined Mr. Weber for an afternoon on the mini greens.

Students won this experience when they purchased tickets for the raffle that supported the SMA Gala last February.
