Charles Evans Hughes Elementary

Today, our 8th-grade students graduated, and it was a truly special moment for both them and their families. There were tears, laughter, hugs, and countless memories shared as they celebrated this important milestone. These precious moments were a beautiful reminder of how far they have come.

Our commencement speaker, Alderwoman Monique Scott was outstanding—uplifting, inspiring, and incredibly supportive of each and every student. As our graduates move on to different high schools, they will carry with them the knowledge, values, and experiences they gained during their time here. We are confident that what has been instilled in them will leave a lasting impact and help guide them toward future success.
