Our summer RISE and Read bus will be back out again starting this Thursday, June 11th!

Stop by the Kaufman County Library to hop on the bus for an activity and a book to take home. Let's keep the learning going all summer!! We can't wait to see you there.

KISD's Summer Feeding Program provides nutritious meals at no cost to all children ages 1-18 at participating sites throughout June. To participate, just show up! - No need to register.

It really was such a fun day for our 1st–4th grade Field Day!! From the games and races to all the smiles and laughter, it was wonderful seeing our students having such a great time together. We for sure could not have asked for better weather!! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special for our kids!

During the school day on May 14th, our district’s 5th graders will take a short field trip over to the Jr. High for a campus visit and tour as they begin preparing for the upcoming school year. 🦁🐾

That evening, we will also hold an introductory get-together for the parents and guardians of these future 6th graders that we lovingly call our “Paws to Claws Meeting.”

Our goal is to help make the transition from elementary school to Jr. High as smooth and supportive as possible for both students and families.

We are so excited to meet our newest Kaufman Jr. High Lions and the people who support them most on May 14th! 💛🖤
