The Brendan Court ’06 Summer Enrichment Program celebrated its 20th year of welcoming local Dallas students to campus for two weeks of fun and learning. The tuition-free program also gives St. Mark’s students a chance to experience life as a teacher, organizing daily classes and activities.

In addition to academic lessons, boys learned ceramics and robotics, watched a planetarium show, and enjoyed some friendly competition in the new Rogers Family Fieldhouse.

A new student-created sculpture now stands on campus, the result of months of creativity, craftsmanship, and perseverance by Hudson Da Rosa ’26.

Inspired by the iconic Path to Manhood sculpture outside Centennial Hall, Hudson's design uses two nested arches to represent the relationship between younger and older students and the journey through St. Mark's. Simple in form yet rich in meaning, the piece reflects growth, mentorship, and the passage of time.

Bringing that vision to life required much more than artistic talent. Working with 300- and 500-pound oak beams, Hudson navigated challenges in design, engineering, logistics, and construction, collaborating with faculty and facilities staff while adapting his plans along the way.

More than a work of art, the sculpture reflects one of St. Mark’s most enduring traditions: older boys helping to carry younger boys forward as they grow, learn, and find their place in the community. Congratulations, Hudson, on leaving your mark on St. Mark's. 🦁

Ancient history came to life during the annual Museum of the Ancient World, where sixth-grade Marksmen showcased independent research projects exploring cultures from Ancient Greece and beyond.

After conducting research in the Green Library, each student created a museum-style display featuring a written exhibit description and a related 3-D model. The event also gave fifth graders an early look at a signature Humanities experience waiting for them next school year.
