Congratulations to the incredible Class of 2030! Tonight, May 19, 2026, we officially celebrate our 8th graders as they take their next big step towards high school. The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is happening at McMillian High School, starting at 6:00 PM. From unforgettable classroom moments and school spirit to the lasting friendships made along the way, these students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone. We could not be prouder of everything they have accomplished, and we cannot wait to see them shine as they head into high school. Let's pack the stands tonight and give our soon-to-be freshmen the massive send-off they deserve!

Last week you Mavs Boys Soccer team took on Shcimelpfenig to start the week and then the B Team competed in their end of season tournament. On Monday B Team poured in the goals by Lachlan Cox, Noel Perez, and London Crayton in the first half to take a 3-0 lead. Unfortunately the tides turned in the second half in the B Team walked away with a Tie but securing the 1 seed going into the tournament. A Team moved into their game giving up yet another early goal, but responded with a quick goal from Julian Montejano and another in the first half from Brody Walcott. They entered the second half down 3-2 but responded to adversity with excellent defensive play and dominating possession. Brody Walcott was able to notch his second goal and Ian Proctor put the Mavs ahead to win the game 4-3.

B team took on Robinson on Friday to start their tournament and it was a heavily contested battle with excellent defensive play from the center backs Atif Syed and Mason Woodyard. The separator came when Caleb Thathiah was able to finish a cross from Lachlan Cox late in the game for the only goal. On Saturday they took on Renner in the semi-final game with a trip to the finals on the line. The Mavs dominated possession throughout the first half and ultimately took the lead with a goal from London Crayton. Due to a questionable penalty in the box, Renner was able to equalize in the second half. The game ended in a tie which sent it straight to penalty kicks. The Mavs went 4-4 with finishes from London Crayton, Lachlan Cox, Eric Parent, and Noel Perez; Renner went wide left which left the deciding PK to the foot of Atif Syed who buried it in the corner and sent the MAVS to the championship game to take on Haggard. Unfortunately Haggard had too much fire power for the Mavs and they walked away with 2nd place in the tournament.

Offensive MVP: Lachlan Cox
Defensive & Tournament MVP: Atif Syed

A Team enters tournament play this Thursday.

Spreading a little extra sunshine around the halls this ! 🌟 Our incredible 7th grade NJHS members, Caio Montenegro Bazani and Greyson Joseph, spent the morning in the library getting creative and crafting motivational posters to lift up their fellow students. These posters will soon be gracing the walls of the school. We believe that words of encouragement can make a massive difference in someone’s day, and we couldn't be prouder of these young leaders for motivating our students and staff as the year races to an end. ✨📚
