Cedar Hill ISD is excited to announce Dr. Coletha Johnson as the new Principal of Permenter Middle School!

A dedicated educator and leader with 25 years of experience, Dr. Johnson most recently served as Principal of High Pointe Elementary, where she led with a focus on student achievement, family engagement, and academic excellence.

Her passion for serving students and belief in the power of education make her the ideal leader for this next chapter at Permenter Middle School. Congratulations, Dr. Johnson! 🎉

Cedar Hill ISD Elementary STEM Camp hosted the on Wednesday afternoon!

From June 17–20, our CHISD Board Members are attending the TASB Summer Leadership Institute, joining school board leaders from across Texas to learn, collaborate, and explore best practices in public education governance.

Among the many sessions offered, trustees are participating in discussions focused on recommended processes to grow school districts and sustain student enrollment - important conversations as we continue to plan for the future and create opportunities for every student.

We appreciate our Board of Trustees' commitment to continuous learning and their dedication to making informed decisions that support student success and strengthen our district.

Congratulations to Plummer Elementary's Whitney Jurand who was named the Southwest Alliance of Black School Educators Elementary Teacher of the Year!

In April, Jurand was named Cedar Hill ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year.

Cedar Hill ISD Enrollment is now open -- enroll.chisd.net -- and enrollment help is also available on the second floor of the Cedar Hill Government Center, 285 Uptown Boulevard, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
