With President Hartzell, Provost Mersey, donors, parents, grandparents, and our student leaders filling the building with energy and pride, it was a night of deep joy and gratitude. We felt the power of what this community has built together.
And now, in the very next breath, Hillel Home is already doing exactly what it was created to do. This week, our students are studying late into the night for finals. They are stopping by for healthy meals and snacks, taking breaks with art supplies and fidgets, leaning on staff for encouragement, and finding comfort in a space where they feel seen, supported, and connected. Hillel Home is not simply a building, it is care in action.
We still need your help to get to our goal of $100,000.
Every dollar raised directly impacts the lives of our 600 Jewish Mustangs. Your generosity makes it possible for students to deepen their Jewish identity, build lifelong friendships, celebrate Jewish life proudly, and know they belong here on the Hilltop — especially during a time when that sense of belonging matters more than ever.

Israel Independence Day Celebration 🎉

Join us on April 26th, 2026, from 12:30–4:00 PM as our community comes together to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut, marking 78 years of Israel's independence.

And we're very excited to share that the reigning MISS ISRAEL, the wonderful Melanie Shiraz, will be joining us for this special celebration, adding even more energy and pride to an already meaningful day.

We invite everyone to gather to show solidarity, celebrate Israeli culture, and reflect on all there is to be proud of, especially our community and connection.
