“Is your meditation practice really meditating?”

What is meditation to you? I am willing to wager that whatever your experience or definition is, it’s different than anyone else’s. Mediation is a word that we all use and assume we are talking about the same thing and yet the meaning we are assigning to that word is as diverse as almost any in the English language. So what is meditation? What is its purpose? Are you meditating “correctly” to effectuate your purpose for meditating? Could you be implementing a meditation practice that would be more suited to your intent and produce better results?

There are myriad types of meditation practices and each does something very different. In this "Magick Talks," Magick will illuminate various types of meditation and their unique and important purposes. He will talk about the difference between active and passive meditation, mediations that simply relax us, versus transform our psychological, mental and emotional lives, as well meditations that take us closer to realizing our divinity, closer to god, the divine and the All That Is. There are meditations that help us disappear into the void and meditations that help us create something from nothing. There are even meditations that do it all, heal our wounds and trauma creating better health, relationships and manifestation, as well realize our Godliness and experience Oneness. Had a wonderful custom retreat with clients last week in Mount Shasta. I feel so honored and humbled to have supported them in their grieving process from the loss of thier daughter.
