Labs came back to normal this morning for Juan Jr’s follow up visit! 🙏🏼🦾

Juan Jr is back home!

It’s been a long week, but GOD willing Bubba gets to go home tomorrow!

ALT number is almost back in the green!

AST got back down into the Green yesterday.

These are the 2 primary numbers they are looking at for Juan Jr and his liver. They are the ones that have been high along with his Direct Bilirubin number.

They are continuing to monitor his blood sugar as well, the steroid treatment caused it to go up. But it was the lowest it’s been the last 3 days this morning.

They wanna continue to monitor. Possibility of coming home on Wednesday! 🙏🏼

Labs are rolling in and there was another drop! One of the numbers they have been monitoring is now back in “normal” range. 🙏🏼

The results came back from the biopsy. It is mild rejection. They will start Bubba on a steroid though his IV to try & help with it.

He’s gonna be @ Children’s for a week or two, so they can closely monitor his vitals and his labs.

Juan Jr is recovering in the PACU. They should move him up to his floor in a few hours.

Bubba finally got to eat today & he’s sleeping now.

We will know more tomorrow after his biopsy. Not sure just yet if he’s here for the week or a month. Just depends on what they are able to find out from the biopsy.

They are going to do the biopsy early tomorrow morning.
