There is a lot more to the development of students/guards need besides just shooting. Understanding the law, de-escalation, reporting, recording and situational awareness are key.

Another Qual target. Shot with a G17 Gen 5. I will shoot this in a 1 inch group one of these days.

Got some good range time in. Lucas with is an excellent pistol practitioner. It's nice to see a fellow professional in private security take training and fitness seriously.

Gun owners, we need to have a conversation. Quit buying these low grade s**t guns! I had three female students that had small and cheap guns! I am not a fan of the tiny revolvers. R***r LCP'S and SCCY's are absolute garbage. After I have students who get frustrated shooting these s**t ass guns, I put my full sized G***k 17 in their hands and they shoot a lot better.

My advice is save up a little extra money and get something that works best for you. You can never go wrong with a G***k!

Completed another security guard training and qualifications today. I also shot another instructor qual target. It was a good day!

I always shoot in front of my students, especially guards I train. I usually do the NRA instructor qual, which is shooting 20 rounds, at 15 yards(45 feet) with no time limit. To pass, you must get 16 out of 20 rounds inside a 6 inch circle, on an 8 inch ring target. I shot this with my G***k 17, Trijicon SRO red dot and a completely stock trigger.
