This incredible act of kindness reflects what makes Meredith special: staff who go above and beyond to support our students both inside and outside the classroom.

Because of your support, our volleyball program continues to grow and create more opportunities for student-athletes. In 2025, we had just one team. In 2026, we expanded to two teams, allowing more Huskies to participate and develop their skills. Looking ahead to 2027, we're excited about the possibility of adding a third team!

Your investment in our students has helped make this growth possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your partnership and commitment to youth athletics.

Hoover Cross Country Student Information Meeting: Wednesday 5/27.

Hoover boys/girls cross country is looking for additional runners! We're excited to work with any student, from current athletes to brand new runners. Workouts in practice are tailored to each athlete, so we start slow and easy and build athletes up as their ability progresses.

In cross country, athletes race 3.1 miles on grass, and we know this sounds intimidating! We've worked with athletes of ALL ability levels though. Many runners can't run half a mile when they start and are running 4-5 miles by the end of the season. If your student wants to be a part of a positive group of student athletes, build their physical and mental toughness, and finish the season as a more confident student athlete, please have them join the team meeting on Wednesday 5/27, or contact me at [email protected]

Meeting Details:
Meet in the Meredith green cafeteria by 3:35pm on Wednesday, 5/27.
Someone from cross country will guide you down to Hoover, room 1110.
The meeting is 3:40-3:55pm.
We will have students sign up on our interest form, share info about optional summer practice, and have students join the TeamReach app for team communication.

Optional summer training starts June 15th, and the season starts August 11th.
